Jeff Bloch is currently the Director of Field Marketing for Hire.com, the leading supplier of Talent Relationship Management Solutions for the Global 2000. He holds a BSCS from Purdue University and has over 18 years experience in staffing management, recruitment, marketing, sales and software development. Jeff specializes in helping large global enterprises integrate vendor technologies and recruitment best practices to get dramatic measurable results. He’s helped companies gain a competitive edge through effective branding, sourcing, recruiting, candidate relationship marketing, speed hiring, and gaining collaboration between key stakeholders.
Prior to joining Hire.com in July 2002, Jeff directed and managed a team of 85 recruitment personnel for Cisco Systems in San Jose, California. The team included Staffing Managers, Recruiters and Sourcers responsible for hiring professionals across 16 Cisco Business Units nationwide with annual revenue in excess of $10 Billion. Jeff led the evaluation and deployment of new recruiting technologies, branding campaigns, employee referral management and internal mobility. During his tenure, Cisco ranked #3 in Fortune’s “Best Companies to Work For” in 1999 and 2000. Jeff also spent nine months on Cisco’s Human Resource Acquisition Team where he managed Employee Relation issues on acquisitions including complex compensation negotiations, resolving legal employment document and stock program issues and Executive redeployment.
Jeff also worked as a Staffing Director for Cadence Design Systems for over three years during one of it’s most rapid growth periods in the late 90’s. Jeff selected, motivated and managed a staffing team of 25 professionals. He was instrumental in Cadence’s evaluation and upgrade of their Applicant Tracking System. He also designed and implemented new metrics to track effectiveness of candidate flow, interview cycle times, requisition aging and individual performance.
Jeff began his career in recruitment over a decade ago at Source Services, a nationwide contingency recruitment agency servicing IT, Engineering and Financial professionals. During his three years with Source, Jeff worked as a Recruiter on 100% commission and was later promoted to Branch Manager.
Before working in HR and Recruitment, Jeff held Sales, Customer Support and Programming positions at Hewlett-Packard and Auto-trol Technology. Jeff also has extensive public speaking and training experience including: Cisco’s Executive Briefing Center, UCSC Extension Instructor, Managing at Cisco Instructor and Computer Technology Institute.
